With the Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante Verzasca, Parmigiani Fleurier adds a new dial variant to its widely admired GMT model, first launched in 2022 in a “Milano blue” version.

The new Verzasca Green dial was inspired by the crystal-clear, mineral-rich waters of the Verzasca Valley in Switzerland’s Locarno district, Ticino. 

The finely hand-guilloché decoration, with the iconic “Grain d’Orge” pattern, showcases Parmigiani Fleurier’s artisanal craftsmanship.

This watch redefines the GMT complication with a pure and intuitive approach, offering a clear and intuitive reading of two time zones. Two superimposed hour hands simultaneously display local time and home time. 

A discreet pusher at 8 o’clock advances the white gold hour hand in one-hour increments while the rose gold hand remains fixed, preserving the reference time. 

To return to a single time zone, a press on the pusher integrated into the crown at 3 o’clock brings the white gold hand back behind the rose gold hand.

Unlike traditional GMT watches, can be hidden on demand, maintaining the watch’s minimalist elegance.

The 40 mm x 10.7 mm case is crafted from polished and satin-finished stainless steel, featuring a knurled bezel in 950 platinum. 

Teardrop-shaped lugs extend seamlessly from the case, integrating elegantly with the refined stainless steel bracelet, which echoes the same polished and satin-finished contrasts. A double folding clasp ensures a secure and comfortable fit on the wrist. Water resistance is rated to 6 ATM (60 metres / 200 feet).

The self-winding manufacture Calibre PF051, equipped with a 22-carat rose gold micro-rotor adorned with the brand’s signature “Grain d’Orge” guilloché pattern, can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback. 

Composed of 215 components, this movement offers a 48-hour power reserve and a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour).

The 22-carat gold micro-rotor ensures a thinner movement, enhancing the watch’s refinement and elegance.
