Founded in 2010, Breva Genève has made a name for itself by creating unique timepieces that combine innovative displays with practical functions, such as the barometer used to forecast weather or a mechanical altimeter. 

As the brand embarks on a new chapter under the leadership of Julien Haenny, Breva is now introducing the Segreto di Lario, a limited-edition model that reflects his pursuit of watchmaking innovation.

Just as Breva draws inspiration from Lake Como’s tranquil breeze, the Segreto di Lario captures the hidden allure of the region. The word "Segreto" translates to "secret," while "Lario" is the ancient name for Lake Como.

The cushion-shaped case of the Segreto di Lario is crafted from 18K rose gold and measures 41 mm in diameter with a thickness of 11.10 mm. Water resistance is guaranteed to 5 bar (approximately 50 meters / 165 feet).

Protected by a sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, the dial of the Segreto di Lario features a central blue section, from 6 o'clock to 12 o'clock, enhanced by a vertical satin finish. 

The lower section is adorned with vertical Côtes de Genève and polished chamfers, all rhodium-plated for additional refinement. Thin, carefully shaped hands add elegance and refinement to the dial.

One of the standout features of the Segreto di Lario is its double retrograde power reserve indicator. This function tracks two separate power reserves: the primary six-day reserve and a secondary 24-hour reserve. This dual-display complication enhances the watch’s practicality, giving wearers a clear, intuitive view of the movement’s power status. 

This innovative feature is powered by the Jean-François Mojon Chronode C101 caliber, a manual-winding movement that incorporates two barrels for enhanced energy distribution. 

The movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), ensuring both precision and stability, with a 7-day power reserve.

Through the sapphire crystal, one can admire the finely finished movement, adorned with Côtes de Genève and polished chamfers, which exemplify the craftsmanship behind the timepiece.

The design process for the Segreto di Lario involved collaboration with Swiss artisans and experts. In addition to Jean-François Mojon and his Chronode manufacture for the movement, Breva worked with AB Concept on the case and Cadranor on the dial design.

The watch is paired with a handcrafted blue alligator leather strap secured by an 18K rose gold pin buckle with an engraved logo.
