DOXA introduces the SUB 250T GMT: a new dive watch with second time zone function. Available in 9 versions and 18 references. Prices from €2,550
After nearly two decades, DOXA reintroduces the GMT function to the SUB collection with the launch of the SUB 250T GMT.
Balancing heritage and modern functionality, this latest addition to the SUB lineup offers a practical dual-time complication within a new 40 mm case, water resistant to 25 ATM, corresponding to a depth of 250 metres / 820 feet.
Available in all eight signature DOXA colours, the SUB 250T GMT is also presented in a special vintage Sharkhunter edition, featuring a gradient dial—a first for DOXA—that pays tribute to the aesthetics of earlier models.
With 18 new references, the SUB 250T GMT builds on the foundation laid by the celebrated SUB 750T GMT from 2006. That model made its mark with versions in Professional orange, Sharkhunter black, Caribbean blue, and Divingstar yellow.
The SUB 750T GMT - 2006
The new SUB 250T GMT features a refined 40 mm case with a slim 10.85 mm profile, offering a contemporary take on a classic design while preserving the key elements that made the original from the 1960s iconic.
These include the distinctive cushion-shaped case, the patented bezel with dual scales, and the highly legible dial with its oversized minute hand.
Crafted from 316L stainless steel, the case showcases dynamic lines accentuated by a mix of polished and satin-brushed finishes. The screw-down crown, ensuring water resistance, is adorned with the signature "DOXA fish" emblem.
The watch is available with either a colour-matched FKM rubber strap or a stainless steel “beads of rice” bracelet, both fitted with a folding clasp and a diving suit extension for added versatility. The lug width measures 18 mm.
Protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the dial of the SUB 250T GMT is available in the following colours and finishes (iconic or sunburst, depending on the version):
- Professional (the iconic DOXA Orange)
- Searambler (Sunburst Silver)
- Sharkhunter (Deep Black)
- Caribbean (Navy Blue)
- Divingstar (Vibrant Yellow)
- Aquamarine (Crystal Turquoise)
- Whitepearl (Pure White)
- Sea Emerald (Sunburst Green)
The 24-hour bi-colour flange, which also indicates day and night, is used in combination with the skeletonised GMT hand to display the time in a separate time zone.
The date window at 3 o’clock completes the display.
The hour, minute, and second hands, as well as the hour markers, are treated with Super-LumiNova luminescent material.
In addition, DOXA also presented the SUB 250T GMT Sharkhunter with a gradient dial and beige Super-Luminova, which further enhances the vintage flair of this versatile diver's watch.
All models are powered by a Swiss self-winding movement operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour). Adorned with DOXA decorations, it provides a robust 50-hour power reserve.
The screw-in solid case back, which conceals the movement, is engraved with a sailing boat, symbolizing this model’s special connection to the world of sailing.
The new DOXA SUB 250T GMT is priced at CHF 2,350, €2,550, US$2,450 with a rubber strap or CHF 2,399, €2,590, US$2,490 with its steel “beads of rice” bracelet. doxawatches.com
