Omega launches the Seamaster Diver 300M in Grade 2 Titanium and Bronze Gold. Read our hands-on review, with exclusive pictures. Price €12,000/$10,700
Omega launches today the Seamaster Diver 300M in Grade 2 Titanium and Bronze Gold.
This new addition follows the stainless steel models showcased two weeks ago as part of the new metallic range, distinguished by aluminium bezel inserts and other unique details.
Breaking away from the familiar ceramic style of recent years, these models take inspiration from the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, worn in the James Bond film No Time to Die (you can read our 2021 review here).
After previewing and wearing the Seamaster Diver 300M in Grade 2 Titanium and Bronze Gold, we are now delighted to share our live pictures and impressions with our readers.
The watch stands out for its rich dark green tone, featured on both the dial and the bezel insert. This colour harmoniously complements the matte Grade 2 titanium case and bracelet, as well as the warm glow of Omega’s exclusive Bronze Gold, used for the bezel, crown, and helium escape valve.
Unlike Grade 5 titanium, an alloy combining titanium, aluminium, and vanadium often used for polished surfaces, Grade 2 titanium is pure titanium and ideal for brushed finishes. Its dim grey surfaces do not reflect light, creating a technical and understated aesthetic.
Titanium significantly reduces weight while offering exceptional properties like corrosion resistance, biochemical inertness, and the ability to withstand extreme temperatures.
Enriched with noble elements such as 37.5% 9K gold as well as palladium and silver, the Bronze Gold alloy has been developed by Omega to retain its natural patina over time, without turning green due to layer oxidation.
As well as offering that long-lasting soft pink hue, it is nickel-free, making it anti-allergenic, and iron-free, improving magnetic resistance.
The case is 42 mm in diameter and 13 mm thick, slightly slimmer than the standard Seamaster Diver 300M models thanks to a new doming of the scratch-resistant sapphire-crystal glass, giving it a vintage aesthetic. The anti‑reflective treatment is applied only on the interior side.
Water-resistant up to a pressure of 30 bar (approximately 300 metres / 1,000 feet), the watch is equipped with a screw-down crown, protected by robust guards, and the helium valve positioned on the caseband at 10 o'clock.
Characterised by a conical shape, this valve uses Omega's patented technology, allowing it to operate underwater.
The unidirectional, counter-clockwise rotating bezel features the dark green aluminium insert which an anodisation process makes harder and more resistant to damage.
Aluminium is also used for the dial matching the bezel's rich green hue.
The blackened applied hour markers, along with the typical skeletonised hands and the bezel diving scale, are treated with "vintage" Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability in poor light conditions.
They all glow in blue except for the minute hand and the bezel dot marking the dive start time which stand out in green.
The warm tones of the dial are enriched by touches of red for the Seamaster logo and the tip of the central seconds hand.
Enhanced by a wave-edged design, the case back displays the advanced automatic movement through a transparent sapphire crystal glass making it possible to appreciate its rhodium-plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque.
Beating at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz) with an autonomy of 55 hours, the Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 features a free sprung-balance with silicon balance spring and it can resist magnetic fields up to 15,000 Gauss.
Movement and watch are tested according to the Master Chronometer certification process approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
To achieve this certification, the movement is first tested by the Official Swiss Chronometer Control (COSC) with precision criteria of -4/+6 seconds per day. Then the complete watch and its movement undergo eight Master Chronometer tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) with criteria of 0/+6 seconds per day.
The watch can be paired with the super light titanium mesh bracelet secured to the wrist by a double folding clasp with security push-pieces (ref. 210.90.42.20.10.001).
This model is also available with a dark green rubber strap, also featuring a foldover clasp (ref. 210.92.42.20.10.001). The lug width is 20 mm.
Well-proportioned for a diver’s watch, this model sits comfortably on the wrist, aided by its curved lugs. For reference, the wrist in our photographs measures 17.8 cm / 7 inches.
The new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M in Titanium and Bronze Gold has a suggested retail price of €12,000 / US$10,700 with the mesh bracelet or €11,100 / US$9,900 with a rubber strap.
A worthy addition to the Seamaster family, this model integrates innovative materials with design heritage, resulting in a striking aesthetic. The use of Grade 2 titanium ensures both durability and lightweight comfort, while Bronze Gold adds a distinctive, warm character.
Combined with the precision and reliability of the METAS-certified Master Chronometer movement, this timepiece reinforces Omega's commitment to advancing both performance and craftsmanship. omegawatches.com
