TAG Heuer, in collaboration with the Senna Brand, introduces the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna—a timepiece created to honour the legendary driver Ayrton Senna.

This watch commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Brazilian champion's passing in 1994 and coincides with the upcoming Netflix series Senna, which will celebrate his life and career. The series is set to premiere on November 29, 2024.

The series will also feature heritage watches, like the TAG Heuer Senna S/EL Link Chronograph S25.706C, as part of the character’s wardrobe to capture Senna’s style and ensure historical accuracy.

The partnership between TAG Heuer and Ayrton Senna began in 1988, and since then, TAG Heuer has honoured his legacy with several special editions, including the 2018 Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 and Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Tourbillon Senna Editions.

The new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna comes in a 44 mm fine brushed and sandblasted Grade 2 titanium case equipped with a fixed bezel in forged carbon inscribed with “Senna” in yellow and a tachymeter scale reaching up to 400 km/h.

Under a beveled, domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, the skeleton dial is reworked with multiple finishes and incorporates a checkered flag motif. 

The chronograph hands appear in a bold yellow, akin to the one of the Senna logo.

The caseback reveals an iconic image of Senna with his helmet, provided by the Senna Brand. This image, coupled with limited edition markings denoting only 500 pieces, underscores the exclusivity of this timepiece. 

The TH20-09 in-house calibre features a vertical clutch, column wheel, and a shield-shaped rotor. 

Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), it offers a bidirectional automatic rewinding system and a 65-hour power reserve, backed by a five-year extended warranty.
