In 2024, Omega expands its popular Seamaster Diver 300M collection with a new series of models featuring diverse metallic styles.

The first of these new watches appeared earlier this summer on the wrist of Omega ambassador Daniel Craig, who wore a black stainless steel version at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Its debut sparked global interest among watch enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the new release.

Departing from the familiar ceramic designs of recent years, the new series draws inspiration from the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, featured in No Time To Die (read our hands-on review here).

Measuring 42 mm x 13.8 mm and water resistant to 30 bar (300 metres / 1,000 feet), the four 2024 Seamaster Diver 300M references are equipped with the same domed sapphire crystal of the Bond watch, a detail that contributes to the vintage aesthetic. 

Available with mesh bracelets in the same style as the Bond watch or rubber straps with folding clasps, the four new models are based on two main variations crafted in stainless steel.

The first comes with a black oxalic anodized aluminium bezel ring with a diving scale in white Super-LumiNova.

Black aluminium is also used for the dial, laser-engraved with the signature wave pattern. The skeletonised hands and indexes are rhodium-plated and filled with white Super-LumiNova, while other markings, including the Omega logo, are transferred in white.

The second model features a Grade 5 titanium bezel with a laser-ablated diving scale in positive relief and a single white Super-LumiNova dot at 12 o’clock.

The brushed dial is crafted from PVD stainless steel, complemented by polished, skeletonised hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova. Other markings, including the Omega logo, are transferred in black.

All watches are powered by a Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, visible through the sapphire crystal on the caseback.

Operating at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour, this self-winding movement provides a power reserve of 55 hours. It includes a free-sprung balance with a silicon balance spring, capable of resisting magnetic fields up to 15,000 Gauss.

Both the movement and the fully assembled watch are tested according to the Master Chronometer certification process, approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), ensuring the highest standards of precision and reliability.
