Omega launches the Seamaster Regatta, the America’s Cup Watch

Omega’s new Seamaster Regatta celebrates the 37th America's Cup, featuring analogue-digital displays in a grade 5 titanium case. Price €8,300

As the official timekeeper of several editions of the America's Cup, the world’s most famous regatta, Omega has created various watches designed to meet the challenges of high-speed boat racing.

Continuing this tradition and in celebration of the 37th America’s Cup, the Swiss brand has launched the Seamaster Regatta, an instrument watch for sailors featuring both analogue and digital displays—similar to Omega's previous models like the Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 and Speedmaster X- 33 Marstimer, which also feature this dual-display configuration.

Housed in a 46.75 mm x 15.6 mm case crafted from Grade 5 titanium and equipped with a blue polished ceramic bezel ring, this imposing model offers several functions, including a moonphase indicator, a chronograph, a sailing logbook, temperature gauge, accelerometer, three alarms, and a regatta race function. Water resistance is ensured up to 5 bar (50 metres / 167 feet).

Protected by a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal with anti‑reflective treatment on both sides, the dial has an LCD display with black markings on a white-grey background to show its multiple digital readings, as well as Diver 300M-inspired hour, minute, and central seconds hand, which can be cleared from the display when in backlit mode to increase the legibility of the digital readouts.

To help sailors navigate through the functions, the Regatta has four pushers, one in red and

three in blue, all cast in rubber, along with a sandblasted crown operated with push and turn actions.

Turning the watch over reveals a wave pattern caseback designed along the principles of “Helmholtz resonance”. 

It has a resonating cavity to help increase the volume of the alarms which also serve multiple functions.

This raised back is embossed with the distinctive 37th America’s Cup logo and engraved with the words "SEAMASTER REGATTA" and "37th AMERICA’S CUP". 

It also bears the name of the brand-new multifunctional quartz movement: Omega’s Calibre 5701. This multi-functional quartz chronograph movement, with a thermo-compensated integrated circuit, features both an inertial sensor unit and a brightness sensor. The battery life lasts around 30 months.
