Introducing the Alpina Alpiner Extreme Automatic 39

Alpina has expanded its Alpiner Extreme Automatic collection with four new stainless steel models, now available in a smaller and trendy 39 mm x 40.5 mm case size.

This new compact format comes in three dial colours: turquoise (ref. AL-525TB3AE6B), fir green (ref. AL-525GR3AE6B ) or pebble beige (ref. AL-525BG3AE6B), all paired with a steel bracelet. 

The beige version is also available with a coordinated rubber strap (ref. AL-525BG3AE6). 

The cushion-shaped case features a round bezel secured by six screws, each with a head shaped like the Alpina triangle. This recurring symbol also appears on the screw-down crown, which is equipped with a rubber grip matching the colour of the dial.

The dynamic lines of the watch are highlighted by alternating satin-brushed surfaces and polished edges. 

Water-resistant up to 20 ATM (200 metres / 660 feet), the Alpiner Extreme Automatic 39 has a total thickness of 11.50 mm. 

The anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects a dial featuring a slightly raised triangular pattern.  The applied indexes, along with the hour and minute hands, are filled with white luminescent material that glows green in the dark.

A red triangle, echoing the brand’s logo, serves as the counterweight for the second hand, adding a subtle touch of colour to the ensemble. Completing the dial is a date aperture at 3 o’clock.

The Alpiner Extreme Automatic 39 is powered by the self-winding AL-525 calibre (based on the Sellita SW200-1), which is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back. 

Beating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), the movement provides a 38-hour power reserve. This is the same movement found in the larger Alpiner Extreme Automatic 41 mm x 42.5 mm model. 

Both the brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet and the rubber strap are secured with a folding buckle with security push buttons.
