Certina introduced the DS Action Diver Chrono, a robust diver's chronograph designed in line with the brand's DS (Double Security) concept, ensuring exceptional water and shock resistance.

The imposing 44.5 mm x 16.17 mm case in brushed 316L stainless steel is equipped with a guard-protected screw-down crown and a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert featuring a 60-minute graduation.

Combining these features with water resistance of up to 30 bar (300 meters / 990 feet), this model meets the requirements of the ISO standard 6425:2018 for diver's watches.

Protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the matt sand-coloured dial stands out against the black ceramic bezel, as well as the chronograph's 30-minute counter and running seconds subdial, positioned at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, respectively.

The gold-coloured hands and hour markers are filled with Super-LumiNova for optimal legibility in low-light conditions. A date aperture at 6 o’clock completes the indications.

Behind the solid caseback engraved with a turtle, the self-winding calibre ETA A05.231 operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a power reserve of 68 hours. This cam-lever chronograph features a Nivachron balance spring which remains unaffected by magnetic fields to enhance the watch's reliability.

The stylish look of this model is completed by a striped textile strap in black, grey, and beige. Made from sustainable #tide ocean material and equipped with a stainless steel pin buckle, this strap can be replaced without the need for any tools thanks to the quick-change system. The lug width is 21 mm.

The Certina DS Action Diver Chrono is also available with a classic steel bracelet featuring a diving extension, paired with either a black or blue dial and a colour-coordinated ceramic bezel. 

The sand-coloured dial version with a striped fabric strap (ref. C032.827.18.271.00) is priced at CHF 1,750, while the black (ref. C032.827.11.051.00) and blue (ref. C032.827.11.041.00) versions with a steel bracelet are available at CHF 1,795. certina.com
