Blancpain expands its Ladybird collection for 2024 with the addition of two Ladybird Colors models with Moon Phase complication. Price from €38,400

Blancpain's Ladybird Collection for 2024 is expanded with the addition of a new Ladybird Colors timepiece featuring multicolored numerals along with a striking coral blue variant, which adds to the existing range of monochrome watches.

Both models are adorned with precious mother-of-pearl dials featuring a captivating moon phase complication at 6 o'clock.

The 34.90 mm x 10.43 mm 18-carat gold cases—white for the multicolored model and red for the coral blue variant—are set with 59 brilliant-cut diamonds, harmonizing with the 70 brilliant-cut diamonds hand-set on the dial in two circles.

The gems adorning the crown and buckle bring the total carat weight to over 2 carats.

The mother-of-pearl dials are characterised by Roman numerals that vary in size, with those displayed at the top gradually becoming more subtle toward the bottom, creating an aesthetically pleasing transition. Each numeral undergoes a five-phase coloring process to achieve its deep hues.

The feminine moon phase graces the dial at 6 o'clock, appearing to float on a textured mother-of-pearl setting.

Visible through a sapphire crystal case back, the self-winding Calibre 1163L operates at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and offers more than four days of power reserve (100 hours). The use of a silicon balance-spring guarantees non-magnetic and chronometric properties.

The gold oscillating weight matches the case color and complements the circular patterns of the watch face, showcasing fine watchmaking decorations such as beveling, circular graining, and snailing.

The Ladybird Colors model with multicolored numerals comes with a set of five interchangeable alligator leather straps in vibrant colors (pink, blue, green, yellow and white) to suit different moods and looks. The other reference with coral blue numerals is paired with a matching light blue strap.

The new Blancpain Ladybird Colors Phases de Lune with multicolored numerals (ref. 3662B-1954-95A) has a suggested retail price of €38,850, while the Ladybird Colors Phases de Lune with coral blue numerals (ref. 3662D-2954-55A) is priced at €38,400. blancpain.com
