TAG Heuer is launching the Aquaracer 2024: 5 Aquaracer Professional 300 Date references and 3 Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT. Prices from CHF3,500
The first new 2024 models to be presented in this collection are five Aquaracer Professional 300 Date references along with three Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT.
These Aquaracer models are designed with key features for various activities. The Aquaracer Professional 300 Date includes a unidirectional rotating bezel, ideal for precise timekeeping during dives, while the GMT versions feature a bidirectional rotating bezel that can be used to track multiple time zones.
Both models come equipped with a screw-down crown and offer a water resistance of up to 300 meters (1,000 feet), ensuring reliability under water. Additionally, the luminescent dial provides excellent visibility in low-light conditions, and the double safety clasp offers added security. Thanks to their functions and robustness, the new Aquaracer models are suitable for a wide range of demanding environments and adventures.
Their design is characterised by the signature 12-facet ceramic bezels with luminescent pointers for accurate reading at any depth.
The 2024 TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date features an updated minute track and more prominent hour hand, now featuring the shield shape, while the second hand and wave pattern on the dial reinforce the link with the maritime world.
The stainless steel case has been redesigned with new proportions, reducing its diameter from 43mm of the Aquaracer 2021 to 42mm and increasing its thickness by 0.5mm, now measuring 12mm thick.
The chosen colors — black, blue, and green — are themed around the ocean's depths and its varying shades.
Among them, the vibrant blue on the second hand is particularly significant, representing the last visible color underwater, aligning with the watch's diving spirit.
The blue version is enhanced by orange accents, the colour of maritime safety, just the opposite of the colour of the ocean on the colour wheel.
The Aquaracer Professional 300 Date is driven by the COSC-certified manufacture TH31-00 calibre. Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), it offers a remarkable 80-hour power reserve.
The solid caseback features a diving helmet that first appeared on the Aquaracer case back in 2004 (to learn more on the history of TAG Heuer and its most iconic timepieces, you can read our feature article “The history of TAG Heuer”).
The suggested retail price of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date is CHF 3,500 with a rubber strap or CHF 3,700 with a 3-row steel bracelet. Both options are equipped with a folding clasp with double safety push-buttons and a fine adjustment system.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT is available in two color variations and three references: the blue and black version can be paired with either a rubber strap or a steel bracelet, while the green model is offered exclusively with a steel bracelet.
The two-tone bezel, made of scratch-resistant ceramic, features a 24-hour GMT scale that allows the wearer to distinguish between day and night at a glance. The GMT hand, with its blue or green lacquered finish and luminous tip, adds a practical functionality when traveling across time zones.
Based on the COSC-certified manufacture TH31 calibre of the Date model, the TH31-03 of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT features an additional time-zone complication.
The retail prices of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT models are CHF 3,900 with a rubber strap or CHF 4,100 with a steel bracelet. tagheuer.com
I think the Aquaracer offers great value for the money. Great choice in its segment.
