MeisterSinger Unomat Editions

MeisterSinger unveils the Unomat Editions, two special versions of its Unomat model with black DLC steel case and blue or orange accents. Price €2,690

German watchmaker MeisterSinger has presented the Unomat Editions, two special interpretations of its Unomat model characterised by a blackened DLC case and crisp, clear dial design.

The two editions are limited to 50 pieces and differ in the colour of the dual-digit numerals and the strap, along with the positioning of the crown.

The first model, the Unomat International Edition, sports a deep arctic blue while the second one, the Unomat NL Edition, has been designed in orange and dedicated to watch enthusiasts in the Netherlands. 

Following the tradition of the MeisterSinger's Netherlands editions, the crown of this version is positioned on the left-hand side.

The deep matte black dial has hour and 15-minute markers in white, while the 5-minute markers are in a grey shade.

The double-digit hour numerals are made of three-dimensional, cast luminous elements applied to the dial. Their thickness allows them to absorb and emit light from the sides as well, resulting in intense night time visibility.

The large needle-shaped hand and the hour markers are also luminescent.

Both models feature a jet black DLC (Diamond-Like-Carbon) stainless steel case measuring 43 mm in diameter.

The case back and middle section have been matt sandblasted, while the bezel is polished. The diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating makes this watch even more hard-wearing and rugged. 

With its screw-down crown, screwed case back, water resistance of 30 bar (300 metres / 1,000 feet), and antimagnetic protection, the Unomat is the sportiest watch in the MeisterSinger collection (you can read our review of the Unomat in stainless steel here).

The Swiss automatic movement - a 4 Hz (28,800 vph) Sellita SW 400 specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches - is enclosed by layers of soft iron making the watch resistant to magnetic fields up to 24.000 A/m. It offers a power reserve of 38 hours.

The robust rubber straps match the colours of the hour numerals and are secured to the wrist with a black DLC steel pin buckle.
