Introducing Omega's Speedmaster Moonwatch Bi-Colour models

Omega has enriched its Speedmaster collection with two new Moonwatch Bi-Colour models, fusing steel with Moonshine Gold or Sedna Gold. Price €20,300

Omega has enriched its Speedmaster collection with two new Speedmaster Moonwatch Bi-Colour models, one combining stainless steel with 18K Moonshine Gold and the other stainless steel and 18K Sedna Gold.

These new models retain the distinctive style of the celebrated chronograph, one of the most iconic timepieces ever designed (for a comprehensive overview, read our feature article "The Omega Speedmaster history"). 

They come in a 42 mm x 13.2 mm asymmetrical case with the characteristic Lyra lugs and are equipped with a black ceramic bezel ring, with a tachymeter scale, and the famous “dot over ninety”, in Omega Ceragold.

They feature sapphire crystals to protect the dial as well as on the caseback to display the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861. This hand-wound movement  beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour with a 50-hour power reserve. 

In accordance with such operating frequency (3 Hz), the minute track of the dial is split by 3 divisions, as opposed to the 5 divisions of the previous Speedmaster generation. This way, when you stop the chronograph seconds hand, the read-out is completely accurate. 

Thanks to the use of anti-magnetic alloys and the Co-axial escapement with a silicon balance spring, Calibre 3861 is certified as a Master Chronometer, Omega's highest standard of precision, chronometric performance and anti-magnetism.

The first dual tone model, ref. 310.20.42.50.02.001, combines stainless steel and 18K Moonshine Gold – Omega’s proprietary long-lasting yellow gold alloy. 

The sun-brushed silvery "step" dial with tri-compax layout features contrasting subdials, also presented in galvanic 18K Moonshine Gold and 18K Moonshine Gold hands

The second version in stainless steel and 18K Sedna Gold, ref. 310.20.42.50.99.001, boasts a PVD-treated and sun-brushed 18K Sedna Gold “step” dial with applied Omega logo and indexes, 18K Sedna Gold hands, and black coated subdials including a small seconds recorder, 30-minute recorder, and 12-hour recorder.

The polished-brushed bracelets combine stainless steel and Moonshine Gold or Sedna Gold to match the case materials. They are equipped with Omega’s patented comfort release adjustment system.
