With the new Luminor Dieci Giorni GMT PAM01482, Panerai further enriches the Luminor Complicazioni collection, which includes chronographs, GMT, and other high-end watchmaking complications.

The watch features a 44 mm cushion-shaped case in polished stainless steel, equipped with the signature Safety Lock crown protection device to guarantee water resistance up to 100 meters / 330 feet.

Protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, the blue "sandwich" sun-brushed dial is characterised by an unusual 10 days ("dieci giorni" in Italian) linear power reserve display at 6 o'clock. 

The dial is enlivened by the orange used for the central arrow-headed GMT hand and the smaller arrow hand providing AM and PM indications positioned, along with the running seconds, at 9 o'clock.

The so-called sandwich structure is composed of two superimposing plates, with the upper layer featuring cut out Arabic numerals and indices offering partial sight of the lower layer treated with Super-LumiNova. 

The hands are also filled with luminescent material glowing green in low light conditions. The date aperture at 3 o'clock completes the dial indications.

The sapphire crystal case back showcases the P.2003 automatic calibre, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a power reserve of 10 days. This is built by an openworked rotor mounted on a ball bearing, which winds the springs of the barrels as it rotates in both directions. 

The movement also features a seconds reset device that resets the seconds hand to zero, enabling the watch to be synchronized with a reference time signal. When the winding crown is pulled out to the second position, a thin blade contacts the balance wheel, stopping it. Simultaneously, a small hammer lever moves downward and acts on a heart-shaped cam, instantly moving the seconds hand to the zero position. 

When the winding crown is returned to the normal position, the balance wheel is freed, the hammer lever is raised, releasing the cam, and the seconds hand resumes its normal course.

The watch comes with a dark blue alligator leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching and a trapezoidal stainless steel buckle, along with a second blue rubber strap.
