In 2024, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented two new versions of the Polaris Date Q9068650 and the Polaris Perpetual Calendar Q908263J. Prices from €12,200

Together with the new Polaris Geographic, Jaeger-LeCoultre also presented two more models offered with new dial colors, the Polaris Date Q9068650 and the Polaris Perpetual Calendar Q908263J.

Both watches are enhanced by lacquer dials in ocean-grey or green, applied in a double gradient finish to add visual depth. They are coated with 35 layers of lacquer. Coated with Super-LumiNova, the white indexes and Arabic numerals guarantee perfect legibility, further enhanced by the anti-reflective glass-box crystals.

The Polaris Date comes in a 42 mm x 13.92 mm case in stainless steel, offering water resistance to 200 meters / 660 feet. The dynamic lines are beautifully highlighted by alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces. 

This model is strongly characterized by the signature double crown. One crown, at 4 o'clock, is used for adjusting the time, the other for rotating the inner bezel. 

Visible through the sapphire case-back, the in-house designed and manufactured automatic Calibre 899 beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a power reserve of 70 hours.

 

It is presented on a textured rubber strap that is easily interchangeable with a metal bracelet of other straps available from the Polaris range. 

The price of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date, ref. Q9068650, is Euro 12,200 (including VAT) / US$ 11,100 (excluding local sales taxes).

The Polaris Perpetual Calendar is offered in 18-carat pink gold, with its case measuring 42 mm x 11.97 mm. Water resistance is ensured up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 meters / 330 feet).

Thanks to its sophisticated Manufacture Calibre 868, this model always shows the correct date, automatically adjusting for the different duration of months and even for leap years. Assuming that the watch runs continuously, it will need no manual correction until 2100, and after that, only on centenaries that are not also leap years. 

The moon phases in both hemispheres, along with the age of the moon, are displayed in the counter at 6 o'clock.

Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering an autonomy of 70 hours, the movement is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, revealing the open-worked winding rotor made of pink gold and the meticulous finishes.

The interchangeable strap system enables rapid changes between the two straps delivered with this watch: black alligator and textured dark green rubber.
