Hublot has introduced the Big Bang Unico Orange Ceramic, marking the debut of this vibrant hue in the Big Bang Unico collection.

Developing an original ceramic colour is far from being a simple task. Extensive research and development is required. Determining the necessary additives, their proportions, the firing process, temperature, duration, and machinability are critical considerations. Additionally, factors such as finish (satin or polished), resistance to impacts and scratches, pressure tolerance, and chemical composition must be meticulously evaluated. 

In line with the stringent standards of the brand, the new Big Bang Unico Orange Ceramic boasts a vibrant hue across all its exterior elements, showcasing flawless mirror polishing throughout. Achieving this level of quality demanded a fusion of advanced technology and craftsmanship, given the diverse shapes, thicknesses, and angles of its components.

Hublot meticulously matched the ceramic's colour for the indices, dial counters, hands, and integrated rubber strap. This strap incorporates the patented "One-Click" system, enabling swift and tool-free adjustments.

Limited to 250 pieces, the Hublot Big Bang Unico Orange Ceramic is powered by the MHUB1280 Manufacture calibre, the latest generation of the automatic flyback chronograph movement developed by Hublot. 

Offering a three-day power reserve (72 hours), this 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) movement retains all its distinctive elements: column wheel on the dial side at 6 o'clock, bicompax layout (small seconds at 9 o'clock, 60-minute counter at 3 o'clock with integrated date), silicon escapement, and a striking skeleton architecture. 

The openworked oscillating weight is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, secured with six screws.

The signature Big Bang case, featuring the famous 6 titanium 'H' shaped bezel screws, measures 42 mm in diameter and 14.5 mm in thickness.

The watch is water resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar, approximately 100 metres / 330 feet.
