Trilobe unveils "L’Heure Exquise" (The Exquisite Hour)

Trilobe recently unveiled its latest model "L'Heure Exquise". Part of the collection “Les Matinaux”, this new edition, limited to 100 pieces, features a poetic moon phase complication.

Inspired by the aesthetic of its inaugural collection, 'Les Matinaux', the elegant dial of the new 'L'Heure Exquise' features a matte, sand-blasted finish and is composed of five parts, three of which rotate permanently in an anti-clockwise direction: the largest ring for the hours, the median for the minutes, and the sapphire glass rotating to the rhythm of the seconds.

The moon phase is co-axially linked to the seconds wheel, under a romantic starry sky. A gear wheel with 59 cogs evokes the orbit of the Moon around the Earth, completing a full cycle of 29.5 days. 

The hour and minute rings continue to move smoothly across the dial, but a slight tilt of the numerals accentuates the movement of the discs, highlighting the passage of time. A single trilobe now serves as the indicator for the hours and minutes, while the seconds flow freely across the dial through starry sapphire glass.

The trilobe, a universal architectural motif, echoes the three pillars of time - Hours, Minutes and Seconds - indicates the time.

The Trilobe "L’Heure Exquise" is available in Grade 5 titanium or 18-carat rose gold with three sand-blasted dial variations: Dune, Blue, and Secret.

The "Secret" Edition, is an invitation to immortalize a precious moment in a poetic way. The starry sky, thus conceived, is a freeze frame for a chosen moment in life. Each dial is made to measure: a map of the sky reflecting the day, time and place that are dear to you, making each watch a unique piece.

The depicted stars come to life, glowing blue, when activated by UV light and in low-light environments.

Water resistant to 50 metres / 165 feet, the case measures 40.5 mm x 9.2 mm and is equipped with a sapphire crystal with multi-layered anti-reflective treatment (ARDUR).

Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, the self-winding mechanical calibre with micro-rotor and moon phase module operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a power reserve of 48 hours.
