Introducing the new 43 mm HydroConquest GMT models by Longines

Longines expanded its HydroConquest GMT line with new 43 mm diameter models in three variations, with green, black or blue dial. Prices from €3,100

First launched by Longines in 2007, the HydroConquest collection was expanded in 2023 with a series of 41 mm diameter GMT models, featuring a completely new design. Now, the HydroConquest GMT line has been expanded with new 43 mm diameter models.  

Like the 41 mm models, the new HydroConquest GMT 43 mm references are water-resistant up to 30 bars (300 metres / 660 feet) and are equipped with a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel fitted with a luminescent capsule, a screw-in crown and a screw-down case back. 

This new-generation stainless steel case measures 12.9 mm in thickness and is finished with an alternation of satin-brushed and polished surfaces. It houses the exclusive Longines GMT calibre L844.5 integrating a silicon balance spring and other components made of non-magnetic materials. This movement's resistance to magnetic fields is more than ten times greater than the ISO 764 reference standard. Operating at a frequency of 3.5 Hz (25,200 vibrations per hour), it boasts a power reserve of up to 72 hours.

The new HydroConquest GMT 43 mm models come in a choice of a green, black, or blue sunray dials, featuring a sapphire crystal with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating.

The applied indices take a round shape at 6 and 9 o'clock, and a triangular shape at 12 o'clock. All hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability in low light conditions. 

The date is displayed through the aperture at 3 o'clock, while the arrow-shaped GMT indicator complements the colour of the dial decals. On the bezel, the 24-hour scale is displayed in two tones to indicate the transition between night and day.

All models offer the option of being paired with stainless steel bracelets featuring H-shaped links and double-safety folding clasps with micro-adjustment. Additionally, the black and blue dial versions are available with matching rubber straps fitted with double folding clasps. The distance between lugs is 22 mm.
