Singer launches the Divetrack. Singer Reimagined introduces the Divetrack, a dive watch with a 24-hour central chronograph function. Price CHF85,000
Singer Reimagined is introducing the Divetrack, an innovative dive watch integrating an unprecedented 24-hour central chronograph function.
Marco Borraccino, the driving force behind Singer Reimagined, shares his vision: "The Singer Divetrack represents a bold leap forward in our quest to reimagine what a diving watch can be. It’s not just about adding a new feature; it’s about enhancing the dive experience with unparalleled precision, functionality, and style."
The Divetrack follows the path of the innovative Singer Track 1 central chronograph released in 2017 and the Flytrack models presented in 2020.
This watch has been designed to monitor an entire diving session with its Singer Central Automatic 24-h Chronograph. While the central sweeping seconds hand ensures continuous movement, the striking orange minute hand keeps track of time during the underwater mission.
These functions extend beyond underwater exploration. During "surface intervals," the Divetrack empowers divers to calculate the duration of their breaks and strategically plan subsequent dives. These intervals are critical for facilitating the safe dissipation of nitrogen absorbed during dives, ensuring divers can navigate their underwater adventures with confidence and security.
The Central Sub-Counter is a multi-functional tool featuring 3 zones:
CHILL (0h-6h): This zone helps you determine the surface interval before your next dive based on factors like previous dive duration, depth, and frequency.
DIVE (6h-18h): Indicates when you are clear to dive again after fulfilling the required surface interval.
FLY (18h-24h): Post-dive, this zone highlights the safe window before flying to avoid health risks such as pulmonary embolism. As per PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) guidelines, you must wait at least 18 hours after your last dive before flying.
When you are ready to dive, simply activate the diving chronograph by pressing the ‘Start’ button at 2 o’clock, protected by a red pusher guard to prevent from accidental activations. This pusher-protection pivoting device is finished with a guard-red ceramic coating to guarantee extreme resistance to scratches and chocks.
The unidirectional rotating bezel features a decompression scale, allowing divers to calculate their decompression stops at a glance. The 60-minute ceramic aluminium ring features Super-LumiNova filled indications and a luminescent applied index at 12h.
The current time is always visible beneath the rotating bezel, thanks to a 12-hour ceramic disk adorned with luminous figures and indexes.
The 49 mm x 19.67 mm case of the Divetrack is crafted from Grade 5 titanium for lightness and complemented by a marine-grade stainless steel turning bezel and caseback.
All components of the watch case are micro-blasted to reduce disturbing light reflections.
The distinctive sandwich design incorporates three sapphire crystals for clear dial viewing, movement display, and frontal visibility of the hour disk. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 30 bar (approximately 300 metres / 1,000 feet) thanks to double O-ring push-buttons and a screw-down winding crown.
The ‘Reset’ pusher at 10 o’clock is designed to prevent accidental usage, only functioning when the chronograph is stopped.
The helium escape valve ensures the watch’s functionality in case of saturation dive by allowing trapped helium to escape during decompression, protecting the watch from potential damage.
The black matte dial base enhances contrast and readability underwater, also thanks to hands and markers filled with high-grade Super-LumiNova for improved readability in low-light conditions.
The transparent sapphire crystal caseback reveals a dedicated 24-hour version of the outstanding AgenGraphe automatic movement featuring 479 parts and operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) with a 72-hour power reserve.
Its innovative architecture centralises all chronograph functions and includes jumping indicators for both minutes and hours, significantly enhancing legibility with a quick glance.
The Singer Divetrack is delivered with a black caoutchouc strap with folding buckle along with an additional technical textile strap with Velcro. The price is CHF 85,000 (excluding VAT or local sales taxes). Production will be limited to 25 pieces in 2024. singerreimagined.com
