Breguet unveils new Stainless Steel bracelet for Type XX Collection

Breguet is presenting a new stainless steel bracelet for its new generation of the Type XX pilot's watches, introduced in 2023,

Following the launch of the new generation of the Type XX pilot's watches in 2023, Breguet is presenting a new stainless steel bracelet designed especially for this collection.

This three-link bracelet features mainly satin brushed finishes, strategically balanced with polished surfaces to enhance its sleek lines. They are secured to the wrist by a triple folding clasp with security push-pieces.

In this way, Breguet provides even more options for its iconic chronographs, which were originally introduced fitted with a calfskin strap along with an additional black NATO strap. 

We had the chance to try the new bracelet on both Type XX versions, and we can say that besides being really well integrated with the case, creating a harmonious whole, it is perfectly executed, comfortable on the wrist, and pleasantly lightweight.

The Type XX is available in two variations, both housed in stainless steel cases measuring 42 mm x 14.1 mm and powered by highly innovative 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour) self-winding column-wheel chronograph movement.

The first version is the military-inspired Type 20 Chronographe 2057, inspired by the 1,100 timepieces delivered to the French Air Force between 1955 and 1959. Its name appeared as Type 20 in Arabic numerals, unlike all the others, including those of the Aéronautique Navale, whose name was written Type XX in Roman numerals. Its black dial is characterised by the mint green luminescent coating used for the Arabic numerals, the hands and the triangle on the bezel.

The Type XX Chronographe 2067, the second timepiece in the collection, holds a direct lineage to the civilian Type XX models of the 1950s and 1960s, including the notable 1957 edition with the individual number 2988. For this version, the Arabic numerals, the hands, and the triangle on the bezel are treated with an ivory-coloured luminescent coating. 

The indicative price of the Type 20 Chronographe 2057, ref. 2057ST/92/SW0, and the Type XX Chronographe 2067, ref. 2067ST/92/SW0, equipped with a stainless steel bracelet, is Euro 24,500.

Additionally, Breguet presented new NATO straps in sand, green, and grey.
