H. Moser & Cie. presented the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon, the latest interpretation of its renowned perpetual calendar complication.

Embracing a truly minimalist approach, the timepiece boasts four central hands, a power reserve indicator, and a date aperture exhibited on the smoked salmon dial, showcasing an array of hues from black to chocolate to gold.

To display the hours and minutes, the three-dimensional hands, made from two sections, feature inserts with Globolight, a ceramic-based material containing Super-LumiNova.

The hand-wound HMC 812 movement, operating at 2.5 Hz (18,000 vibrations per hour), indicates the months by means of a small central hand in red and white. While the months are usually represented by the indices, this Concept version has neither indices nor a logo. 

The Streamliner Perpetual Calendar Concept Smoked Salmon has a guaranteed power reserve of 168 hours, displayed at 10 o'clock via an indicator. 

At 4 o'clock, a window indicates the date, in large format, thanks to two superimposed discs that operate one after the other, from 1 to 15 then from 16 to 31.

Aligned with the crown, the date window is positioned at an unusual angle which required the numerals to be tilted to 26°. The date swiftly changes at midnight through an instantaneous date-change mechanism, allowing adjustments forward or backward at any time.

The leap year indicator is located on the movement side. The transparent sapphire crystal case-back also displays the meticulous finishes of the HMC 812 calibre including the traditional Moser double horizontal stripes and an anthracite grey PVD coating on the balance bridges, train wheels, barrel and escapement plate.

Crafted from stainless steel, the cushion case measures 42.3 mm in diameter and is topped by a domed box-shaped sapphire crystal. The dynamic lines are highlighted by alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces. 

Ensuring water resistance up to a pressure of 12 ATM (approximately 120 meters / 400 feet), the timepiece is complemented by a steel bracelet with articulated links seamlessly integrated with the case, mirroring the same exquisite finishes. The triple folding clasp is engraved with the Moser logo.
