SEVENFRIDAY introduces its latest model, the M2/05, an unconventional timepiece that will appeal to those with a playful spirit.

Embracing a return to SEVENFRIDAY's foundational design principles, the M2/05 embodies a straightforward message: personal preference transcends style debates. 

The brand, known for its out-of-the-ordinary approach since its inception in 2012, adheres to the principle of 'show me, don't tell me.' This philosophy remains integral to the M-series, including the newly launched M2/05. Inspired by architecture and industrial machinery, the M2/05's design harks back to SEVENFRIDAY's original pieces, featuring a colour scheme typical of the brand. 

The antique aesthetic draws inspiration from classic cars, British interiors, and an essence of tweed. With its roots in the M2/04 Whisky" released in 2022, the M2/05 seamlessly merges sophistication with SEVENFRIDAY's distinctive style.

The watch is adorned with a bronze PVD animation ring with a special bouchonné finishing. The watch’s bezel is polished stainless steel with a refilled black Berlac painting. 

Measuring 47.6 mm x 47 mm with a thickness of 14.8 mm, including the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the 316L stainless steel case is water resistant up to a pressure of 3 ATM (approximately 30 metres / 100 feet).

The dial is constructed with 7 layers, featuring a stone grey bouchonné hour plate expertly crafted using a CNC machine. The minute plate features a stamped pattern and a cheeky highlight engravement that serves as a daily reminder to focus on what truly matters. 

The case back cover artwork conceals the unique NFC chip with which owners can register and authenticate their watch.

Behind it, the self-winding Miyota 8215 calibre operates at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) with a 40-hour power reserve. Owned by Citizen, Miyota is a Japanese company specializing in the production of quartz and mechanical movements. 

Paired with a dark green calfskin leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching, the new SEVENFRIDAY M2/05 Action Talks has a price of CHF 1,460, excluding local sales taxes. sevenfriday.com
