Hublot's latest horological innovation, the MP-10 Tourbillon Weight Energy System, represents a fundamental departure from traditional watchmaking principles. Discarding conventional elements such as a dial, hands, and an oscillating weight, this timepiece embraces a roller display, circular power reserve, and an inclined tourbillon driven by two linear weights.

This avant-garde timepiece marks a significant chapter in the evolution of Hublot's MP series.
The result of 5 years of research and development, it is made up of 592 components and will be produced in a limited edition of just 50 pieces.
As mentioned earlier, the MP-10 does away with traditional hands, replacing them with four constantly rotating displays.
In the upper third of the dial, the hours and minutes are presented, accompanied by an invisible magnifying glass for heightened clarity. The central third showcases a circular power reserve, featuring a clearly delineated green zone and red zone. Finally, in the lower third, seconds are indicated directly on the tourbillon cage.
What we refer to as the 'dial' here is, in fact, the movement itself, serving as both the engine and the face of the watch.
The time is read from top to bottom, fluidly and naturally, with the two-tone disc (red and green) of the power reserve set coaxially to the hours and minutes. Below them, the seconds.
The indications share the same white lacquer typography on black aluminium rollers. For each indication, the current time is read via a red triangular marker.
The winding system of the MP-10 diverges from traditional movements characterized by a flat dial and a case-back oscillating weight. Given the MP-10's unique design, devoid of a dial or hands and featuring a vertical orientation for time reading, a reimagined approach to winding was essential.
Hublot's engineers ingeniously adapted the weight principle, transforming it into a vertical configuration mirroring the movement's orientation. This innovation involves two blocks of white gold positioned on either side of the central architecture, allowing them unrestricted movement along a vertical axis. To prevent collisions with the banking, Hublot implemented a sophisticated shock absorber system.
These two vertical weights engage with a rack, facilitating bidirectional winding of the movement—an exclusive Hublot development currently pending a patent. This groundbreaking mechanism endows the MP-10 with a power reserve exceeding 48 hours. Manual winding is achieved through the crown at 12 o'clock, while time adjustment utilizes a second crown positioned on the case-back side, preserving the design's fluidity.
The exterior is on par with the movement. While the case construction is simple (two pieces, middle and case-back in shiny micro-blasted titanium), the sapphire crystal atop it is Hublot's most complex to date and combines inclined planes on three axes. The same applies to the integrated black rubber strap, secured to the wrist by a titanium deployant buckle
Measuring 54.1 mm in length, 41.5 mm in width), and 22.4 mm in thickness, the MP-10 is water resistant to 3 ATM (30 metres / 100 feet).
