The new Streamliner Small Seconds Blue Enamel from H. Moser & Cie. combines the contemporary design of case and bracelet with a precious Grand Feu enamel dial crafted using a technique which dates back to the 17th century.

Made of steel and measuring 39 mm x  10.9 mm, the cushion-shaped case of this model ensures water-resistance to 12 ATM  (120 metres / 400 feet) and is inspired by the curves and roundness of the first high-speed trains of the 20s and 30s, from which it takes its name. 

Integrated into the case, the steel bracelet is elegantly arced to extend the curves of the case with articulated links, designed to enhance wearability.

Reinterpreting the brand's signature fumé finish, the Grand Feu enamel dial, named "Aqua Blue" by Moser, is distinguished by a hammered texture.

The production process of this dial starts with a pattern engrained onto a gold base, as if hammered. Subsequently, three different colour pigments are washed, finely crushed, then applied one by one to create an ombré effect. 

To achieve the fumé effect, a translucent "Grand Feu" enamel dial undergoes a total of twelve firings, gradually deepening the lighter shades at its centre. Each resulting dial is unique.

Steel applique indexes adorn the dial's perimeter, devoid of any logo. The three-dimensional hands, crafted from two sections, showcase inserts with Globolight, an innovative ceramic-based material containing Super-LumiNova, for a luminous display of hours and minutes.

The offset small seconds is displayed at 6 o'clock on a lacquered sub-dial with a circular pattern, adding depth to the ensemble, all protected by a slightly domed sapphire crystal.

Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, the automatic calibre HMC 500 is one of the slimmest of the Schaffhausen-based manufacture.

Its reduced height of 4.5 mm was possible thanks to the choice to integrate a micro-rotor. Made from solid platinum, this micro-rotor is mounted on a ball bearing, equipped with a bi-directional pawl winding system, and offers sufficient barrel torque to provide a power reserve of 74 hours.  

Operating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), the movement features open bridges with a contemporary finish. It is decorated with the traditional Moser stripes and an anthracite grey coating. The company hallmark is displayed on the micro-rotor.
