Hanhart unveils Red X Blue and Red X Grey Limited Editions

Celebrating its rich heritage in precision timekeeping, German watchmaker Hanhart unveils two exclusive twin sets, each limited to 140 pieces. Each set includes a wrist chronograph, an additional stopper, a dashboard plate, and a table stand, showcasing the brand's expertise in the stopwatch sector.

Available in two captivating variations, Red X Blue and Red X Gray, the twin sets feature royal blue and anthracite dials, respectively. The dials exhibit a captivating sunburst finish, revealing diverse facets under varying light conditions.

With a legacy dating back to 1924, Hanhart quickly became a prominent German manufacturer and a leader in mechanical and electronic timepieces. Renowned globally, Hanhart's stopwatches were essential equipment for referees and race directors at major sporting events and car races throughout the last century. Embracing this heritage, the newly launched chronographs and addition stoppers with flyback function pay homage to the brand's longstanding tradition in crafting precision instruments.

The premium flyback stopwatch is accompanied by a dashboard and table stand, transforming it into a unique desk accessory.

Hanhart utilizes its in-house caliber 122 for the additional stopper, while the wrist chronograph is powered by the premium AMT5100 M caliber from Sellita's "Manufacture AMT" division. 

Both timepieces operate the chronograph through a column wheel. The stopwatch, when fully wound, boasts a power reserve of at least 10 hours, and the wristwatch provides a power reserve of at least 58 hours. Both calibers are hand-wound.

The flyback function allows a new time interval to be measured immediately by pressing the reset button making it possible to measure lap times precisely and without interruption.

The wristwatch comes in a 39 mm x 14.5 mm stainless steel case featuring a large crown adorned by the historic Hanhart "h"and a slightly curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inner side. The red pusher at 4 o'clock is a signature feature of Hanhart chronographs. Water resistance is guaranteed up to 10 ATM (approximately 100 metres / 330 feet).

Engraved with the limited edition number XXX/140, the case back reveals the beautifully finished flyback column wheel caliber.

Framed by a fluted rotating bezel with red marking, the dial features the historical brand logo and displays a bicompax layout with numerals and hands coated with Super-LumiNova for improved readability in low light conditions.

The Red X Blue and Red X Grey wristwatches are paired with a cowhide strap in blue or gray, boasting a suede-like texture and adorned with red cross-stitching on the lugs. The lug width measures 20 mm.

The new Hanhart Twin Sets, Red X Blue and Red X Grey, are priced at Euro 2,790 (including 19% VAT). The set is available only as a whole, it is not possible to purchase the timepieces individually. hanhart.com
