Union Glashütte Belisar Chronograph Speedster: vintage sportiness in electric blue

Union Glashütte presented a new limited edition of the Belisar Chronograph Speedster with a striking electric blue dial. Ref. ref. D009.427.11.052.09

The latest interpretation of the Belisar Chronograph Speedster from Union Glashütte comes with a striking electric blue dial that is clearly inspired to the dashboard of a sports car.

The black totalisers and the outer tachymeter scale create a striking contrast with the monochrome blue dial, improving readability at first glance. 

The hands are meticulously crafted with a black nickel-plating and coated in Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal visibility in low-light conditions. The chronograph hands — both the central seconds and those for the 30-minute and 12-hour counters at 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock — are painted white while the small second hand at 9 o'clock features a black nickel finish. The precision-engineered railway track minute ring further enhances the accuracy of time reading.

The 316L stainless steel case measures 44 mm x 15 mm and is water-resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (corresponding to 100 metres / 330 feet).

The pump push-buttons and the slightly domed sapphire crystal reinforce the vintage appearance. 

Beating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a power reserve of 65 hours, the UNG-27.S1 automatic movement features a silicon balance spring which provides greater longevity, more precise running, and greater resistance to magnetic fields.

The interchangeable rubber strap and stainless steel bracelet with quick-change spring bars make this chronograph a versatile timepiece to suit any occasion.
