DOXA unveils the SUB 300β Seddiqi Limited Edition 2023 with mother-of-pearl dial

DOXA presented the new SUB 300β Seddiqi Edition 2023, a 50-piece limited edition developed in collaboration with the brand’s prestigious partner in the Middle East, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.

The watch comes in a 42.5 mm case featuring the slimmer profile (11.95 mm thickness vs 13.65 mm of the SUB 300T) recently introduced with the SUB 300β Sharkhunter.

For the first time in the history of its iconic SUB model, DOXA has equipped this special edition with a deep sea blue dial in natural mother-of-pearl, making each model truly unique. In fact, no two pieces of this captivating material share the same appearance.

Characterised by natural iridescent effects, mother-of-pearl varies in colour and structure, influenced by the part of the shell from which it is derived and depending on its origin.

Its radiance is magnified by the scratch-resistant, flat sapphire crystal’s anti-reflective coating. 

Boasting a water resistance rating of 30 ATM (equivalent to 300 meters or just over 980 feet), the SUB 300β Seddiqi Edition 2023 is meticulously crafted from a solid block of 316L stainless steel. It showcases the renowned DOXA-patented unidirectional rotating bezel, here enhanced by a blue ceramic insert mirroring the dial. This bezel incorporates dual scales for measuring dive duration (in minutes) and depth (in meters), essential for calculating no-decompression dives.

To enhance visibility in underwater and low-light conditions, all diving-related indicators on the dial are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal legibility.

Protected by a solid case back, the 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) Swiss automatic movement guarantees a power reserve of 38 hours.

The SUB 300β Seddiqi Edition 2023 can be paired with the historic ‘Beads of Rice’ bracelet in stainless steel or with a white FKM rubber strap. Both have a folding clasp featuring an adjustable wetsuit extension.
