Hublot created the Essential Grey collection with a unique approach: a single colour, a different model every year, limited editions, through a single channel.

After the Big Bang Unico Essential Grey presented last year, in 2023 the Swiss brand unveiled the Spirit of Big Bang Essential Grey.

Like all Essential Greys, it will be the first and the last of its kind. Furthermore, only 100 pieces will be manufactured. And they will only be available online.

Part of the only Hublot collection featuring barrel-shaped watches, this new limited edition is made from 100% titanium: including the case, bezel, screws, crown, push-pieces, case-back, and folding clasp. 

With its soft and radiant hue, titanium offers the ideal chromatic properties for a grey model.

The lines of the case (42 mm in diameter and 14.10 mm in height) are highlighted by alternating satin-finished and polished surfaces. Water resistance is guaranteed up to 10 ATM (100 metres / 330 feet).

The openworked dial invites to discover the architecture of the HUB4700 Calibre. This automatic chronograph movement beats at a high frequency (5 Hz, or 36,000 vibrations per hour). 

To enhance legibility, Hublot has introduced some subtle variations to this Essential Grey model, particularly on the date disc positioned at 4:30, as well as on the chronograph counters located at 3 o'clock for minutes and 6 o'clock for hours. 

The watch showcases a combination of various finishes, including mirror polishing, drawn lines, graining, luminescent hour markers, and rhodium-plated hands, creating a visually captivating effect with different levels of depth.

Through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback, it is possible to observe the efficient openworked oscillating weight that builds a power reserve of up to 50 hours.

As usual, the Spirit of Big Bang Essential Grey features the One-Click system. This allows you to change bracelets in a fraction of a second, and without any tools. Two straps are delivered: a grey grooved rubber strap lined with black thread on the outer edge, and grey fabric strap with Velcro buckle and ceramic.

Only 100 copies of the Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Essential Grey ref. 642.NX.0110.NR.HEC23 will be produced. Priced at CHF 22,900 / Euro 25,200 / US$ 24,100, it is exclusively available at hublot.com
