Exclusively created for the Only Watch 2023 charity auction, the F.P.Journe Chronomètre Furtif Bleu is a unique timepiece that marks a complete world premiere. 

The 42 mm x 9.50 mm case and the integrated 3-row flat-link bracelet are entirely made of Tantalum, with alternating sand-blasted and polished finishes.

Twice as dense as stainless steel and slightly lighter than gold, Tantalum is a rare dark grey metal with blue overtones. In terms of properties, it is particularly hard, corrosion resistant, and bio-inert.

The Chronomètre Furtif derives its name from the challenge of reading the time unless the watch is directly facing you. Its blue enamel dial conceals the frosted numerals, only revealing them through the reflection of light. Moreover, the moon phase and power reserve indications are seamlessly integrated into the movement and can only be observed on the back of the timepiece. As a result, this watch becomes a personal delight, with its indications exclusively accessible to its owner.

The watch is powered by a brand new movement, the hand-wound Calibre 1522 in 18K rose gold with direct central seconds, a first for F.P.Journe. The orange colour of the hand makes this indication stands out prominently on the dial side.

Beating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, the movement provides a power reserve of around 56 hours.
