Frederique Constant launched the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture in stainless steel, an elegant dress-watch housing a sophisticated tourbillon mechanism and presented in two dial variations, each produced in a limited edition of 350 pieces.

This model celebrates Frederique Constant’s 35th anniversary as well as the 15th anniversary of the brand’s first Manufacture tourbillon movement, released in 2008.

The 39 mm x 11 mm case of this model is characterised by classic lines and polished surfaces and is water-resistant up to 5 ATM (50 metres / 164 feet). 

A scratch-resistant and anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal protects the midnight blue or silver-coloured sun-brushed dial featuring diamond-cut hands and applied hour markers.

The large aperture at 6 o’clock reveals the tourbillon, a watchmaking feat designed to offset the effects of gravity on the watch movement by keeping the escapement in constant motion thus preserving an ideal running rate.  

The individual number of each piece is marked on the tourbillon cage and engraved on the see-through caseback which reveals the finishings on the self-winding movement – bevelling, beading, circular graining, straight-grained flanks and mirror polishing.

The manufacture FC-980 caliber beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and is equipped with a silicon escapement wheel and anchor for improved resistance to the adverse effects of magnetism and temperature variations. It guarantees an autonomy of 38 hours.
