Maurice Lacroix reinterprets the stealthy appearance of the Aikon Master Grand Date Black by adding a splash of vibrant hues. The result is the new Aikon Master Grand Date Technicolour, offered in a choice of four dial colours: blue, green, orange and yellow.

Housed in a 45 mm x 15 mm stainless steel case dressed in black DLC (Diamon-Like-Carbon), each version of the Aikon Master Grand Date Technicolour features an off-centre dial enlivened with intersecting lines, arranged in a criss-cross pattern, termed ‘Clous de Paris’. 

A small seconds display is positioned below the off-centre dial. Each dial is enriched with sunray decoration and features black, facetted hour and minute hands, coated with Super-LumiNova for improved readability in poor light conditions.

Framed by the typical bezel with six polished arms, the dial also offers a clear view of the movement's balance wheel. Through the openworked small seconds display it is possible to observe other movement components in motion.

At 10 o’clock, a double window displays a highly legible large-format date of the month indication. The numerals are presented in the same hue of the off-centre dial. The date window has the same shape as the bezel’s arms, a confirmation of the level of attention that the brand pays to details. 

More elements of the self-winding manufacture ML331 calibre, including the openworked, brushed and snailed rotor, are revealed through the sapphire crystal caseback. Beating at the frequency of 2.5 Hz (18,000 vibrations per hour), it offers about 50 hours of power reserve. 

Water resistant to 100 metres / 330 feet, the watch is supplied with two rubber straps fully integrated with the case: one matches the dial and the other is presented in black to complement the case. 

Thanks to the proprietary Easy Strap Exchange system, switching from one strap to another takes just a few seconds and without the need for tools.

All of the watches are presented in special packaging exclusive to this new model. Each presentation box is formed of #tide, a composite material made from ocean-bound upcycled plastic. It takes 34 bottles to make one presentation box which means 34 fewer bottles polluting the ocean. The colour of each box matches the chosen dial hue.
