Omega - Aqua Terra Shades collection

Omega is launching its new Aqua Terra Shades collection with 10 new models characterised by vibrant dial colours. 38mm and 34 mm. Prices from € 7,200
Omega is launching worldwide its new Aqua Terra Shades collection with 10 new models characterised by vibrant dial colours that follow the spectrum from ocean to earth.

Omega Aqua Terra Shades 38mm

Two different sizes are available, with entirely polished stainless steel cases either in 38 mm or 34 mm, and both powered by Co-Axial Master Chronometer movements.

Omega Aqua Terra Shades 34mm

Part of the Seamaster family, the “Aqua Terra” line was launched in 2002, with the Latin name intending to express the exceptional reliability of these timepieces both on water (Aqua) and on land (Terra). With the launch of the “Shades” models, the collection is ignited with sparkling colours, thanks to special dials crafted from brass, then sun-brushed outwards from the centre, and finally enhanced by a layer of lacquer for extra depth.

Thanks to the advancement of innovative technologies, Omega has been able to achieve truly unique and uncommon hues. PVD technology, known as Physical Vapor Deposition, achieves a particular effect that enables colours such as Terracotta, while CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) triggers specific chemical reactions to create hues like Sea Blue.

For the 38 mm models, the dials feature traditional rhodium-plated hands and indexes. In the 34 mm range, the dials are enriched by 18K white gold for the hands and the indexes, which are shaped like sailboat hulls.

The watches are presented on stainless steel bracelets, whose redesign is based on smaller and elegantly rounded links, which deliver a fresh appearance within the Aqua Terra collection.

Providing the power is Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800. The Master Chronometer certification means that each watch and its movement has passed the strict tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). This guarantees the highest standard of quality, precision, and magnetic resistance.

Beating at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour, this automatic movement offers a power reserve of 55 hours and features a free sprung-balance with silicon balance spring. It is enhanced by rhodium plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque.

In addition to the steel models, Omega also created two 18K gold references, one for each case size. Both are driven by the Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8801, which offers the same performance as calibre 8800 while being embellished with a rotor and a balance bridge made of 18K Sedna Gold.

The 38 mm version comes with case and bracelet in 18K Sedna Gold, Omega's proprietary red gold alloy, known for its warm tones and high resistance to fading. Along with a bezel studded with 46 diamonds totalling 1.77 ct, the sun-brushed and lacquered dial is CVD-treated and presented in a sandstone colour, featuring an applied circular date window in 18K Sedna Gold, sailboat indexes, and grey-coloured transfers.

Omega Aqua Terra Shades 38mm

The 34 mm choice is made from Omega's yellow gold alloy, known as 18K Moonshine Gold, which boasts pale tones and exceptional resistance to fading. The sun-brushed and lacquered dial is CVD-treated and presented in lagoon green, featuring an applied circular date window in 18K Moonshine Gold, sailboat indexes, and silver-coloured transfers. The watch is completed by a pine green leather strap in pine green.

Omega Aqua Terra Shades 34mm

The prices for the new Omega Aqua Terra Shades models, available in either 34 mm or 38 mm sizes, start at €7,200 for the stainless steel versions. omegawatches.com
