The latest chapter of the collaboration between TAG Heuer and Porsche is the Carrera Chronograph x Porsche Orange Racing, a timepiece that well represents the racing heritage of the two brands.

Its design keeps with the unmistakable Porsche aesthetic and is characterised by a vibrant orange colour that is used for the Porsche logo on the bezel, the lacquer on the crown and various dial details such as the “azuré” counters and the orange seconds hand.

The deep black of the 44 mm stainless steel case is the result of a high-quality DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) treatment. The black ceramic tachymeter fixed bezel frames a beveled, domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment.

The black vertical brushed dial features white numerals and markings and is enhanced by an azuré finishing for the chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o’clock and a grained texture for the running seconds display at 6 o’clock.

The transparent sapphire crystal case back displays TAG Heuer's most advanced movement, the in-house manufactured Calibre Heuer 02 beating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with an autonomy of 80 hours. The movement’s oscillating mass represents Porsche’s three-spoke steering wheel and bears the two partners’ logos side by side.

Comprised of 168 components, this movement includes a vertical clutch and a column wheel. Easily recognizable through the sapphire crystal case-back for its orange colour, the column wheel controls the chronograph levers and contributes to more accurate and precise functionality.

Secured to the wrist by a black DLC steel folding clasp with double safety push buttons, the carbon-like black calfskin strap with orange stitching and lining adds the final touch.
