Dressed in khaki and black, the new Maurice Lacroix Pontos Day Date Limited Edition is a sporty chic three-hand model with the additional indications of day and date.

The watch comes in a 41 mm x 11 mm stainless steel case coated in a stealthy shade of black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon). Sporting a fluted grip, the crown is protected by two discreet guards. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 10 ATM (corresponding approximately to 100 metres / 330 feet).

The dark green sunray dial is characterised by applied trapezoidal indexes and black hours and minutes hands filled with Super-LumiNova. The red tip of the central seconds hand adds a nice touch.

To further improve readability, a sandblasted inner minute track, executed in black, is positioned on a lower plane hosting a series of lines and squares treated with the luminescent material. 

At 12 o'clock, the day is shown via a recessed arcing aperture in white text atop a black disc. In a similar way, the date is shown via a recessed square aperture at 6 o'clock.

The transparent sapphire crystal showcases the mechanical automatic ML143 calibre beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with a power reserve of 38 hours.

The movement is adorned with vertical Côtes de Genève, circular-graining and colimaçon, while the rotor is embellished with sun brushing.

The dark green M-branded nylon strap with tone-on-tone stitching can be easily swapped with other straps of the brand thanks to the Easy Strap Exchange system.
