Thanks to its GMT feature, the new Panerai Luminor BiTempo can simultaneously track the time in two different time zones.

Offered with a blue sun-brushed dial (PAM01361) or a matte black dial (PAM01360), the new watch comes in a 44 mm case crafted from stainless steel and equipped with the signature Safety Lock crown protection device to guarantee water resistance up to 300 metres / 1,000 feet.

The time in the second time zone is indicated by a hand in vivid cerulean blue to ensure visibility at a glance.

 

The same hue is used for the small hand of the subdial at 5 o'clock providing a measure of the remaining power reserve, which extends to 72 hours when fully wound.

Characterised by the typical "sandwich " structure, the dial has been updated with a new date aperture, larger than in previous models and with a beveled frame, a feature that we will see also in future models.

The hands and the hour markers are treated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability in poor light conditions.

The Italian words on the dial highlight the two key features: BiTempo (DualTime) refers to its GMT function while Ore (Hours) indicates the remaining autonomy.

Visible through a sapphire crystal display caseback, the self-winding Calibre P.9012 beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and is fitted with a seconds reset device for stopping the balance wheel when synchronising the watch.
