In 2022 Mido will be presenting five exclusive models from its flagship collections: All Dial, Baroncelli, Ocean Star, Multifort and Commander with each model paying homage to an iconic building and presented in a special decorative case featuring a collectable commemorative medallion.

After the All Dial 20th Anniversary, the spotlight is now on the Baroncelli Signature 20th Anniversary, an elegant timepiece dedicated to the Rennes Opera House.

Produced in a limited edition of 1,836 pieces (the year the famous opera house opened), the 

new wristwatch comes in a classic 39 mm round case crafted from stainless steel with polished surfaces. 

In addition to its specially engraved case back, several nods to the architecture of Rennes Opera House have been incorporated into the finely grained ivory-coloured dial, such as the index at 12 o’clock and the date aperture reminiscent of the monument’s façade. 

The applied indexes, the alpha-style hours and minutes hands and the central seconds hand that stands out in blue complete the harmonious ensemble. 

Fitted with a Nivachron balance-spring to ensure improved accuracy and reliability, the self-winding Mido Caliber 80 (base ETA C07.611) beats at the frequency of 3 Hz, or 21,600 vibrations per hour, with a remarkable autonomy of 80 hours.

Matched to a black crocodile-look genuine cow leather with stainless steel folding clasp and water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 bar (50 metres / 165 feet), the watch is delivered in a special presentation box decorated with a collectible commemorative medallion.
