Corum - 10th Anniversary Golden Bridge Automatic

Corum unveiled a new Golden Bridge Automatic series with a panoramic sapphire crystal for the 10th Anniversary of the first automatic Golden Bridge

The Golden Bridge was launched by Corum as the world’s first-ever in-line baguette movement in 1980. Another milestone happened in 2011 when the Swiss brand released an automatic version of the in-line calibre featuring an oscillating weight on rails.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of this achievement, Corum is now unveiling a new Golden Bridge Automatic series with a tonneau-shaped case that offers a spectacular view of the movement thanks to its panoramic sapphire crystal.

For the first time, Corum created the sapphire crystal as a single sapphire piece that extends from the top crystal to the sides of the watch, offering a 360-degree view. 

The four models of the new collection come in polished Grade 5 titanium cases with the crown at 6 o'clock for ergonomic comfort and full symmetry. They include a titanium and 18-karat gold model in a limited edition of 150 pieces, and a full titanium version in an edition of just 50 pieces. 37.20 mm wide and 51.80 mm long, the case has a total thickness of 13.70 mm.

The two configurations are also offered with diamonds set on the case. Just 100 pieces of the diamond-set titanium-and-gold version will be produced, and only 25 of the diamond-set titanium watch will be made.

Since the Golden Bridge Automatic has no dial, Corum designed a floating harness system for the hour markers so that they seem to be floating in space. As the name of the watch suggests, the main plates and bridges of the movement are in 18-karat gold for all versions.

All watches are powered by the self-winding Corum Caliber C0313 beating at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) and guaranteeing 40 hours of power reserve. Featuring a smoked sapphire crystal, the case back reveals the ingenious linear oscillating weight made of platinum.

Water resistant to 30 meters /100 feet, the Corum Golden Bridge Automatic 10th anniversary watches are matched to alligator leathers strap secured to the wrist by a triple folding clasp.
