Tudor is launching a new variation of its Black Bay Fifty-Eight model that introduces two firsts for a Tudor's divers' watch: a 925 silver case and a transparent caseback to display the movement.

The new Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925 comes in a new secrete silver alloy that, according to the brand, will not be affected by use as you would expect from a metal like silver that quickly tends to tarnish. Entirely satin-finished for a matt effect, it is particularly brilliant.

Measuring 39 mm in diameter, the case is ideal for slimmer wrists and those who love a vintage style. It offers water resistance to 20 bar (approximately 200 metres / 660 feet).

The insert of the unidirectional rotating bezel comes in a nice taupe colour exactly matching the dial where we find numerous details in silver, including the distinctive “Snowflake” hands, the graduations and text. The sapphire crystal is slightly domed.

The same colour palette is found on the fabric strap offered with this model. The other strap option comes in brown grain leather. 

The sapphire crystal transparent case back displays the Manufacture MT5400 Calibre featuring an oscillating openworked rotor in tungsten monobloc, satin-brushed with sand-blasted details.

Beating at the frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), this COSC-certified movement features a non-magnetic silicon hairspring with a power reserve of about 70 hours.
