To celebrate the collaboration with Christopher Nolan for his latest film TENET, Hamilton created a special edition of the Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO available in two variations, with a blue (ref. H78505331) or a red-tipped (ref. H78505332) second hand. The Hamilton Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO Special Edition has a price of Swiss Francs 2,150 / Euro 1,945 / US$ 2,095.
After creating the Khaki Field Murph for Christopher Nolan’s hit Interstellar, Hamilton cooperated once again with the British director for his latest film TENET, coming soon to theaters.
The film required a watch with features that do not currently exist in a commercially available Hamilton watch. Hamilton accepted the challenge to produce this key movie prop and found a way to combine the needed technology with the display on the dial of a production model, the Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO. To meet filming needs, the Swiss brand produced dozens of the final prop watch.
To celebrate the collaboration, Hamilton also created a special edition of the Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO.
This special edition is available in two variations, with a blue (ref. H78505331) or a red tipped (ref. H78505332) second hand as a reference to key colors in the movie. Each color version will be limited to 888 pieces, the number chosen as a nod to the movie title, which is also a palindrome, something that reads the same backwards and forwards.
This model is powered by an automatic movement and - as it is easy to imagine - it does not feature the digital screen that appears on the custom-made prop watch created for TENET. The movement of choice is the H10 Calibre, a three-hand movement with a date function that guarantees a power reserve of 80 hours.
The watch comes in an imposing black PVD-coated titanium case measuring 46 mm in diameter that is matched to a black rubber strap with a black PVD pin buckle.
Water resistant up to a pressure of 100 bar (1000 metres / 3300 feet), the Hamilton Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO Special Edition has a price of Swiss Francs 2,150 / Euro 1,945 / US$ 2,095. A special packaging created by TENET production designer Nathan Crowley features colors inspired by design elements in the film. hamiltonwatch.com
