Norqain is presenting today the three-handed Independence 20 Limited Edition, its first timepiece fitted with the brand new Manufacture calibre NN20/1, boasting 70-hour power reserve and COSC-certified precision. Limited to just 200 pieces, the new Independence 20 Limited Edition with manufacture calibre (ref. NN3000) has a price of Swiss Francs 2,990 with a steel bracelet and Swiss Francs 2,840.00 with a leather strap.
Last February, Norqain announced a new strategic long-term partnership with mechanical movement manufacturer Kenissi, whose shareholders include Tudor and Chanel, in order to enhance the brand’s collections with manufacture calibres.
Following that announcement, Norqain is presenting today the three-handed Independence 20 Limited Edition, its first timepiece fitted with the new Manufacture calibre NN20/1, boasting 70-hour power reserve and COSC-certified precision.
Featuring three different type of finishings (satined, polished and sandblasted), the distinctive 42 mm x 11.80 mm stainless steel case guarantees water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet, also thanks to the screw-in crown that, protected by two guards, is engraved with the Norqain logo.
On the left side of the case, the polished Norqain plate can optionally be personalised by the owner.
Visible through the scratch-proof box sapphire glass caseback, the Manufacture Calibre NN20/1 features a transversing bridge with two-point fixation to ensure that the timekeeping performance will not be hindered even when sporting activities are pursued.
The movement is decorated with Norqain touches such as the golden “double-N” logo – symbolising the Swiss Alps – and the brand’s core values engraved on the bridge as “Adventure – Freedom – Independence.”
Together with the new mechanics, the Independence 20 sports a new eye-catching green dial whose scratched decoration is unique for each timepiece – no two models look exactly the same.
Around it, a black inner bezel features the hand-applied indexes and the 60-minute indication. The facetted hour and minute hands have a Super-LumiNova tip while the seconds hand has a red tip that matches the red “Chronometer” indication on the dial and enhances the sporty look of the timepiece.
The Independence 20 Limited Edition can be matched to either a high-quality stainless steel bracelet with brushed and polished links or an integrated black leather strap.
A confirmation to the quality and reliability of the movement, the Independence 20 Limited Edition is delivered with a four-year international warranty. When customers register to join the Norqainer Club within one month after their purchase, they receive an additional year of warranty for a total of five years.
Limited to just 200 pieces and available at authorised Norqain retailers as of today, the new Independence 20 Limited Edition with manufacture calibre (ref. NN3000) has a price of Swiss Francs 2,990 with a steel bracelet and Swiss Francs 2,840.00 with a leather strap. norqain.com

Glad to read that they have chosen to go with their own movements
ReplyDeleteDefinitely an important step for the brand.
DeleteVery nice model with a robust and reliable movement. Why not to include the date of month in a future version of the model?
ReplyDeleteThat could be an idea. Although many prefer the cleaner look of a dial without date.
