Norqain is presenting today a new 200-piece limited edition of its successful Freedom 60 chronograph model characterized by an attractive anthracite dial.
Protected by a double anti-reflective, scratch-proof box-type sapphire crystal, the dial of the new Freedom 60 Chrono Limited Edition has a 3-6-9 tricompax layout with a sunburst anthracite finish and black counters. The large hand-applied indexes and syringe hands stand out clearly against the dark background, even in poor light conditions thanks to the application of Old Radium Super-LumiNova emitting green glow.
The 43 mm x 15 mm case is made of 316L stainless steel and offers water resistance to a pressure of 10 bar (approximately 100 metres / 330 feet). Its beautiful lines are highlighted by the alternation of polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The screwed crown is embellished by an engraved Norqain logo
On the left caseband, the polished Norqain plate, typical of the brand, is engraved with “Limited Edition - ONE of 200”. The inset pusher located on at 10 o’clock can be used to adjust the date that is displayed on the dial between 4 and 5 o'clock. By repeatedly pushing it, the date-disc will rotate forwards until reaching the desired date without having to readjust the time.
The self-winding Norqain Calibre NN18 (base ETA/Valjoux 7753) is displayed through the sapphire crystal transparent case back. It features a personalized unidirectional winding rotor enhanced by Côtes de Genève decoration and the engraved logo of the brand. Beating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), this reliable movement guarantees a power reserve of 48 hours.
The watch can be matched to a stainless steel bracelet with deployant clasp or to a vintage-style leather strap with distinctive “Norqain stitches” available in various nuances (ebony, praline, truffle and shark) and secured to the wrist by a stainless steel pin buckle with engraved logo.
