IWC and Orlebar Brown announced today their new partnership. Orlebar Brown is a British resort wear and lifestyle brand founded in 2007 that has grown into a global company. Their stores can be found in more than 25 locations around the world.

To celebrate the start of this collaboration, the Schaffhausen-based watch manufacturer is presenting the Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph Edition “Orlebar Brown”, a nautical chronograph that is perfect for sailing and sea life.

The new model comes in a sporty 44.6 mm x 14.4 mm stainless steel case that offers water resistance to 6 bar (approx 60 metres / 200 feet) and is secured to the wrist by a blue rubber strap with a co-branded side-fastener steel buckle.

Protected by a sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides, the marine-blue dial is characterized by the small seconds silver-plated counter at 6 'clock and the eye-catching red accents, including the chronograph seconds hand. The Yacht Club is the only Portugieser model to feature luminescent hands and indices.

The movement features a flyback function and aggregate timing of up to 12 hours, shown by an analogue display with two hands in the subdial at 12 o'clock.

Visible through the transparent case-back in sapphire crystal, the IWC-manufactured self-winding 89361-calibre beats at 28,800 vibrations per hours and offers 68 hours of power reserve.
