The Vacheron Constantin Overseas collection expands with a new dual time model in stainless steel characterized by a black lacquered dial. The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Ref. 7900V/110A-B546 has a price of Euro 24,800 (including VAT) / US$ 22,900 (without sales taxes).
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas collection expands with a new dual time model in stainless steel characterized by a black lacquered dial.
The Overseas Dual Time enables simultaneous reading of two time zones while also offering date and day/night indication.
In addition to the traditional central hands for local time, a fourth hand tipped with a red arrow displays the ‘home’ time, coupled with a day/night indicator. The date hand appearing on a sector at 6 o'clock is synchronised with local time, corrected by means of a push-piece. The two 12-hour zones can be adjusted using the crown in both directions.
The 18-carat gold faceted hour-markers and hands are treated with luminescent material for enhanced visibility in poor light conditions.
Featuring the distinctive hexagonal bezel, the 41 mm x 12.8 mm steel case is water resistant to 150 metres / 500 feet thanks to secured crown and date push button.
The 5110 DT self-winding manufacture movement beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and guarantees a power reserve of 60 hours. The 22-carat gold oscillating weight is decorated with a wind rose.
The watch is matched to a stainless steel bracelet with half Maltese cross-shaped polished and satin brushed links, complete with a comfort-adjustment system, and delivered with two additional straps in alligator leather or rubber matching the shade of the dial that can be interchanged without any need for tools.
