The new Circularis Automatic “Old Radium” is the latest addition to the MeisterSinger’s premium line, characterized by in-house developed movements. the MeisterSinger Circularis Automatic “Old Radium” ref. CC9Z02 has a price of Euro 4,490.
The Circularis is MeisterSinger’s premium line and is characterized by in-house developed movements, hand-wound (Calibre MSH01) or self-winding (Calibre MSA01I).
It is the self-winding version that powers the new Circularis Automatic “Old Radium”, the latest addition to the line.
Like most models of the German brand, it tells the time using just one hand that sweeps over the 12 hours divided by 144 markers, each representing 5 minutes. Once you get accustomed to this concept, reading the time is easy and even fun. In some way, MeisterSinger invites users to live their time in a more relaxed way.
The Circularis Automatic “Old Radium” is sportier than the other models of the line thanks to the brushed finish of the 43 mm stainless steel case which offers water resistance up to a pressure of 5 bar (approximately 50 metres / 165 feet).
The domed sapphire crystal protects a matte black dial where the painted hour numerals and the single hand are treated with "Old Radium" luminescent material which adds a vintage touch to the overall appearance.
Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the MSA01 automatic movement of the Circularis can be admired through a screwed exhibition glass back. The rotor winding mechanism uses a circling tungsten weight to wind two highly efficient in-line barrels that guarantee a remarkable power reserve of 120 hours. The skeletonization of the rotor recalls the shape of the MeisterSinger's logo.
A wheel with sprung teeth minimizes the backlash of the hand, making the rotation of the single hand extremely smooth and even, something that you immediately perceive when you adjust the time via the crown.
Beautifully matched to a vintage saddle leather strap, the MeisterSinger Circularis Automatic “Old Radium” ref. CC9Z02 has a price of Euro 4,490. meistersinger.com
