Glashütte Original PanoMaticLunar rose opaline. Glashütte Original is releasing a new version of great appeal of this highly successful model, the PanoMaticLunar rose opaline. Presented in a limited edition of 50 pieces, the Glashütte Original PanoMaticLunar rose opaline can be matched to a blue Louisiana Alligator leather strap with pin buckle (ref. 1-90-02-12-32-01) or folding clasp (ref. 1-90-02-12-32-30) with prices of Euro 9,400 and Euro 9,700, respectively.
Following the release of the PanoMaticLunar in rose gold and blue dial earlier this year, Glashütte Original is now releasing a new version of great appeal of this highly successful model, the PanoMaticLunar rose opaline.
As its name suggests, this new reference is characterized by an exquisitely crafted dial in a rose opaline hue that creates a perfect contrast with the blue of the applied hour markers, the moon phase display and the sword-shaped hands.
The rose opaline colour is the result of a special galvanization procedure performed in the watchmaker's in-house dial manufactory in Pforzheim, Germany. The process involves placing the dial for a precisely specified length of time in a galvanic bath under a constant electrical charge in order to achieve the desired soft hue.
Offering excellent readability with its off-centre displays and large date aperture, the dial is framed by an ideally-sized 40 mm polished and satin-brushed stainless steel case waterproof up to 5 bar (approx 50 metres / 165 feet).
The PanoMaticLunar rose opaline is driven by a 4 Hz self-winding movement, the manufacture Calibre 90-02 offering a 42-hour power reserve. The excellent finishes, typical of the Glashütte watchmaking art, can be appreciated through the sapphire crystal case back.
