TAG Heuer presented four new Carrera Calibre 16 Chronograph models that introduce several stylistic and functional enhancements.
In particular, the dial – in sunray black or sunray blue – improved legibility with larger and more pronounced counters. Instead of a Super-Luminova dot at each index, the index markers are now filled with the luminescent material for optimal visibility even in poor light conditions.
Colourful accents - red on the black dial or orange on the blue one - enhance the overall look.
The 41 mm stainless steel case now appears thinner and sleeker thanks to shorter lugs and alternating brushed and polished surfaces.
The black or blue ceramic bezel also appears larger since it no longer has a metal ring along the outer edge. This change underscores the overall sporty look. The crown has also been given a slight upgrade with black lacquer around the centre and the TAG Heuer shield.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 16 Chronograph is powered by the Calibre 16, protected by a stamped caseback with the collection name and a tyre-track pattern that serves as a nod to the collection’s heritage. Beating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vph), this self-winding movement offers an autonomy of about 42 hours.
