First introduced in 2017, the Luminor Due line by Panerai is evolving with six new models in three different sizes: 38, 42 and 45 millimetres.
Three of them share the sandwich structure and blue satiné soleil finish of the dial while all six watches are united in being fitted with mechanical Manufacture movements offering three days of power reserve and quickly changeable straps.
In terms of materials, a Luminor Due 38 mm (PAM00926) appears for the first time in titanium. The other two 38 mm models are offered with a stainless steel case (PAM01043) or with a Goldtech case (PAM01045). Goldtech is a special gold alloy which contains a percentage of copper, for a more intense red hue, and platinum prevent the material from oxidizing. Both models feature white dials with Arabic numerals and markers in beige Super-LumiNova with green luminescence.
The Luminor Due 42 mm (PAM00927) is the first model of its size to associate a titanium case with an automatic mechanical movement. The 42 mm diameter is also used for the PAM01046 in stainless steel and white dial with Arabic numerals and markers in beige Super-LumiNova.
The above mentioned models are equipped with the new 4 Hz (28,800 vph) P.900 Calibre. With its thickness of 4.2 mm, this is one of the thinnest automatic movements produced at the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel.
Finally, the Luminor Due GMT Power Reserve 45 mm (PAM000964) is Panerai’s first 45 mm watch to feature an interchangeable strap with the Quick Release system. Twin time zones with dial-side power reserve indication and a 24-hour display with am/pm indicator are incorporated in a movement just 4.8 mm thick. Beating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vph), the P.4002 Calibre offers three days of power reserve.
