DOXA is launching a limited edition of just 300 pieces of its SUB 200 T.Graph diver's watch powered by original Valjoux 7734 calibers conserved at DOXA for over 30 years.
The SUB design was first introduced in 1967 and became well known and appreciated by divers not only for its patented rotating bezel with the official no-decompression dive table - a worldwide first - but also for its vibrant orange dial.
The concept was further refined in 1969 with the presentation of the SUB 200 T.Graph whose 50th anniversary is celebrated with this new limited edition in stainless steel.
With a diameter of 43 mm, the SUB 200 T.Graph is topped by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. In addition to being water-resistant to 20 ATM, equivalent to a depth of about 200 meters / 660 feet, the watch also features the patented unidirectional rotating bezel with the dual indication of dive time in minutes and depth in meters to calculate the dive time without decompression stops.
The semi-matte orange dial features two counters, one at 9 o'clock indicating the seconds, and the other at 3 o'clock indicating the chronograph 30 minutes.
The baton-type hands, the insert on the chronograph seconds hand, and the indices are all filled with beige “Light Old Radium” Super-LumiNova.
The 300 pieces of this limited steel edition are equipped with historical Valjoux 7734 movements beating at a frequency of 2.5 Hz (18,000 vibrations per hour). These original calibers, dating back 30 years, have been carefully preserved by the Swiss family Jenny, who took over ownership of the DOXA brand two decades ago. Each movement has been completely revised to guarantee complete reliability.
The “grains of rice” bracelet is crafted from 316L steel and features a folding clasp with diving extension.
Available for order as of 2 September 2019, the DOXA SUB 200 T.Graph Limited Edition has a price of Euro 4,900. doxawatches.com
