Eberhard released a special edition chronograph dedicated to the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo and in particular to its sport DNA, represented by the “Quadrifoglio Verde” symbol. The new Eberhard “Quadrifoglio Verde” Chronograph Reference 31070 will be on sale exclusively at Eberhard’s authorised dealers in September 2019. The retail price is Euro 3,980.
Eberhard released a special edition chronograph dedicated to the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo and in particular to its sport DNA, represented by the “Quadrifoglio Verde” symbol. In fact, the four leaf clover, at the same time a lucky
charm and an emblem of boldness, has been the signature for Alfa Romeo’s
most sporting models since 1923.
The new Eberhard “Quadrifoglio Verde” Chronograph features a masculine 43 mm steel case housing a self-winding three-counter chronograph movement beating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour). Of the three, the small seconds’ counter is the one that immediately catches your attention thanks to its special hand, shaped as the triangular clover emblem.
The tachymeter scale surrounding the deep black dial, inspired by the readability of Alfa Romeo’s dashboard instruments, combines all the tradition of Eberhard chronographs with an automotive imprint. The red touches enhance the sporty character of the watch, just like the satin-brushed finish used for the bezel and the chronograph push buttons. The Arabic numerals, just like the hour and minute “baton” hands, are treated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility in the dark. The sapphire crystal has an antireflective treatment on the inside.
The case back is fixed by 8 screws and personalised with engravings and the individual number of each timepiece. Completed by a waterproof black strap in a technical fabric combined to a calf leather lining with red rubberised treatment, the "Quadrifoglio Verde" is secured to the wrist by a steel buckle with the “E & C” embossed logo. Water resistance is 30 metres / 100 feet.
