Launched in 2018 on occasion of the Baselworld show, the Seamaster Diver 300M Collection is now expanding with the chronograph version.
Just like the three-hand model that we presented here, the new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph combines modern materials and technologies to create different looks.
Nine new references were presented. Among them we highlight here three models: in steel with blue dial and bezel, in steel and gold with black ceramic bezel and dial, and in Sedna gold (the name chosen by Omega for its special rose gold alloy blending gold, palladium and copper) with a laser- ablated black ceramic bezel and black ceramic dial. All models feature a 44 mm case that guarantees water resistance to 300 metres / 1,000 feet.
The first model (ref. 210.30.44.51.03.001) is the one that will attract the fans of the traditional look of the Seamaster Diver 300M. It delivers a classic and popular design with stylish touches such as blue ceramic pushers.
The stainless steel case is enriched by a polished blue ceramic bezel ring with a diving scale in white enamel for long-lasting brilliance. The polished-brushed stainless steel bracelet now features a new and improved integration with the case and includes Omega’s patented extensible foldover rack-and- pusher with an extra diver extension.
The blue ceramic dial is laser- engraved with the signature waves. It includes a date window at 6 o’clock, as well as raised indexes that are filled with Super-LumiNova. All hands are rhodium-plated.
The Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 9900 is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hours, this self-winding chronograph movement with column wheel mechanism and Co-Axial escapement offers a power reserve of 60 hours. Price: Euro 7,100 / US$ 7,450.
The second version of the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph combines a stainless steel case with a bezel crafted from 18K Sedna gold with a black ceramic ring and Ceragold diving scale. The conical helium escape valve and crown are also made in 18K Sedna gold, while the integrated strap is presented in black rubber.
The dial is made in black ceramic with raised indexes filled with Super-LumiNova and 18K Sedna gold hands, except for the central chronograph seconds hand which is gold coated.
Like the previous model, this version is powered by the Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 9900. The price of this reference (210.22.44.51.01.001) is Euro 8,900 / US$ 9,300.
The third model (ref. 210.62.44.51.01.001) sports the newest and boldest look thanks to a laser-ablated black ceramic bezel ring with a polished diving scale and the only contrast of a single dot of white Super- LumiNova at 12 o’clock.
The black ceramic dial is laser-engraved with the Diver 300M waves in positive relief. Most distinctive are the 18K Sedna gold rings that surround the subdials. All hands and indexes are 18K Sedna gold, except for the central chronograph seconds hand which is gold coated.
Presented on a rubber strap, the watch features a screw-in caseback with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal which displays the Master Chronometer Calibre 9901 inside. It differs from Calibre 9900 for the special luxury finish of a rotor and balance bridge in 18K Sedna gold. Price: Euro 24,800 / US$ 26,000.
All models will be available in stores from August 2019. omegawatches.com
